ROCKALL SOLO was a unique endurance expedition undertaken by Nick Hancock in June and July 2014, in order to raise funds for Help for Heroes.

About us

Nick landed on Rockall in 2012 on a reconnaisance for Rockall Solo. The challenge was then for Nick to land on Rockall for a second time, and this time survive solo, setting two new endurance records:

THE LONGEST SOLO OCCUPATION OF ROCKALL

Help for Hero

Help for Heroes (H4H) was founded by Bryn and Emma Parry after a visit to Selly Oak Hospital in the summer of 2007.They met some extraordinary, brave, young men and women and decided they wanted to do something to help. The Charity was launched in October 2007 with the aim of raising £500k for a swimming pool at Headley Court but which turned into building an £8.5m Rehabilitation Centre.
